Soccer games...

Hailey and Josh had their first soccer games this past Saturday, and I am proud to say they both won! hailey is getting better and better every year. She has realized that defender is her strong suit, and she protected the goal very well. Since this is Josh's first year I didn't know what to expect but when he is not chasing butterflies, he is actually pretty good! He always wants to be goalie, but then when he is in there, he gets bored. During the game, he kicked the ball away from the goal, and then a fellow teamate scored. Good job Sharks and Tigers =-)
Here are some photos from our exciting Saturday morning. (Hailey is #2, and Josh is #5). Hope everyone is still enjoying their summer..my kids go back to school on Monday, and Josh will be in Kindergarten...wish us luck =)
I love this picture because he is barely bigger than his uniform!

Hailey maybe the littlest on the team, but she sure is a fighter!

Sickness can overwhelm you....

O.K. so I haven't posted in over a week, but I have a good excuse. Hailey and I have been sick. We have not been put on anti-biotics in awhile, and it has seriously kicked our butts! But now that we are on the up and up, we are busy getting ready for school, and well into the soccer season. I will definitely be posting some cute pictures of my girls since they will be turning 2 soon! Thanks to everyone for their calls and messages of concern...we are finally feeling better.

Our BIG week...

As many of you know, my good friend Kasey came to visit me from Cali., and we tried to pack in as much as we could while she was here. We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center, North Shore, Dole Plantation, and we tried something neither of us has done before- the Waimae Falls. It was the lowest it has been thus far for the season, AND it is a 3/4 mile walk one way, but the kids still seemed to enjoy it, and we probably would of liked it even more if Kasey and I brought our swim suits. My cleaning supplies enjoyed the break while she was here, but my house will enjoy the attention I have to give it now that she is gone =). Thanks again Kasey for coming, and next time I promise I will come to you =-).

Here are my little peas digging away without a care in the world...

HAPPY 4TH of JULY

I am truly feeling the burn from today, but it was definitely worth it. We went to a show on post called the 38th annual 4th of July celebration. It was an all day extravaganza and it was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from all of the excitement....the kids went on some "carnival" like rides, there was a concert, a flag ceremony, a dog protection seminar thing showing how dogs protect the police force, and lots of yummy food. The greatest part for me was being able to have a front row seat to the fireworks show in our own driveway! Hope you all enjoy your 4th and remember why we celebrate it!
