We're Here

Well we made it safe and sound..minus almost breaking a computer, and losing David's phone we are good:) The breath-taking views, and lush scenery is such a welcoming site! I love that it is fall season, and the trees are turning colors!! I have registered Hailey and Josh for school, we have seen our new house and it is exciting to see it, & to visualize it becoming our new home.
I was able to buy Josh some new furniture, and the girls' a new dresser and night stand at
fab-u-lous prices.
What I think is also unique is how expansive the land is here, I guess since it is not a premium like in Hawaii, and even in parts of California; it can go on forever! With rolling hills, and green grass, etc., etc. ,etc.
What the kids are not too fond of, is how things close due to seasons; like the pools, the Dairy Queen. (weird huh?!) Certain outdoor activities that they are used too having year round and can't.
Overall, we are excited to see and enjoy more of our surroundings!

ALOHA Hawaii

Well, this is it for us here on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. we will definitely miss the beaches and all the beautiful scenery. We took a drive one last time around the island and I captured some cute photos of the kiddos. We also stopped one last time at Aoiki's for their infamous shaved ice w/ice cream at the bottom. As of tomorrow, we will be officially homeless for about 3 weeks!! Wish us luck, and the start of a new chapter in the Sobek's life:)

Our LAST Memories

So as our end approaches here on the island, I am reminded of all the wonderful things this beautiful island has to offer. The price /smell and freshness of pineapple, the scenery of course, the chocolate covered macadamia nuts at ridiculously low prices, the cultural song/dance they play before every movie. The PCC for learning about different cultures brought together. The beautiful temple. Of course some of the great and beautiful people I have met and will be everlasting friends with.
There is always a flip side however, and I am GLAD..no..ESCTATIC to not have to pay an arm and a leg for shipping, to not know what season it is except for what music is playing, and what relatives say is going on as far as weather. To be able to drive to wherever you want to go if you want to. To see family more, and to have SEASONS!!!
SO BRING ON THE NEXT ADVENTURE!!!!
