Happy Holidays

The girls are saying "hello" to everyone!
I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas! I don't know if the news traveled that far, but we had the ENTIRE island of Oahu without power this past Friday, the day after Christmas! The airport was closed, (yes, closed for approximately 2 hours before running on 2/3rd's power). 900,000 people were in the dark including President elect Barrack Obama. It was definitely one for the books! The hospitals were one of the only ones with generators...I thought being on a military base it would be prepared for something like that, but no we were just as much out of luck as the next person. We had a sleepover for the kids in Josh's room, while David and I were up because we were able to hear every little sound imaginable. I bet he is glad I have invested in so many candles! (ha, ha)

On a better note, Christmas day the girls' favorite gift came from Kasey...those sunglasses were too cute, and needless to say, they kept putting them on and taking them off all day long! I snagged a couple of pics to show everyone.

Plus there are some of them on Hailey's bigwheel that she got about 3 years ago. No matter where Audrey is in the backyard, she heads straight for it, and climbs right into the drivers seat!

Avery doesn't like the way her sister drives apparently!

By the way, for all of my fans....I am finally getting hair!

Hope everyone has a great New Years' and remember we are still missing everyone!

O.K. so yesterday I got a TWO new callings in church...compassionate service leader for the military side of the ward, and a Primary teacher for the 7/8 yr.olds. I am excited but hesitant at the same time because I'm not too sure as to what to expect for the R.S. calling. I've always wanted to do that, so now I get the chance! I hope everyone is doing well, and remember...we are just a phone call or blog away!

Oh Come, All Ye Faithful

This week has been full of excitement and anticipation for my little ones, knowing that Christmas is around the corner! It is a little sad for David and I knowing that our family cannot be with us during this special time of year, but we know we will see everyone soon. Let's see, so far I have gotten a new job, (a delivery driver for Papa John's, I know, I know, I'm a revived 18 year old at heart l.o.l.) I forgot my daughter at school on minimum day, ( I owed her hot chocolate, and extra attention for a week...I got off pretty lucky!! I felt like the worst parent ever), and we have to evict our renters in California. Wow! Are we lucky or what?? No, but seriously; we know the Lord works in mysterious ways, and we ARE blessed to have our family safe and healthy.
Here is a picture of my four precious little ones in front of our gorgeous Christmas tree.

This picture is after it rained for 4 days straight. It flooded our PX, and Wal-mart. We are grateful it has finally stopped!

O.K. so our ward Christmas party was last night, and I mistakenly thought it was going to be fine since it was the girls' bedtime. Granted it started an hour later than it was supposed to, but no.....it WAS horrible because it was the girls' bedtime! Not to mention the fact that Hailey and Josh got kicked in the face in the jolly jump. F.Y.I. kids over the age of eight should not be allowed to jump with little ones! So, there are no pictures with Santa (much to Hailey's dismay) this unfortunately is the best I got....
Remember those mischievous little hands??? I caught them in action!!

Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

O.K. so I know some of you would like to see what our house looks like, especially on post....so here are just a FEW pictures I took since we were able to hang Christmas lights for the first time! We were slightly disappointed though to find out they are aluminum siding; so you have to use S hooks to hang them, and we didn't have enough lights even if we wanted too. BUT that is what after-Christmas sales are for right? Next year will be bigger and better! Unfortunately, you can't see the luster of the lights, but try to imagine a little pool of water under the tiny little tree and about 500 lights around the bushes. We're still pretty proud!!!!

As for the Christmas tree...I decided to let Hailey and Josh decorate it. We decided not to hang up a lot of glass balls due to four mischievous little hands, so this is the final product. Pretty homely right? I wouldn't publish it as great or anything, but hey...you have to admit my kids have some creativity!

So Many Things to be Thankful for!!

I decided since the theme for Thanksgiving is family, I thought it would be neat to show off our wonderful family. Some of these precious gemstones have never seen the public eye, so watch out!
The girls have learned how to climb up the stairs, but not down..Audrey has gotten 2 more teeth (the total count now is five yeah!) Josh got a haircut (finally) and Hailey attended her first Achievement Day for church. (girls ages 8-11 years old can go). Of course last but not least, we have a new nephew! Graham William Stevens born on Nov. 21st. @ 11:07 p.m. Congratulations Lynnette and Mark on boy #2!
We are trying to unpack everything before we break out all the Christmas decorations, so we will update pictures of that. Can't wait to see photos of everyone! We miss and love you guys lots!

Oh! And since it is tradition to go sround the table and say what you are thankful for, we are going to just pretend we are sitting with you guys, and here are our top 6 for this year.

#1. We have each other to love

#2. We live someplace beautiful

#3. We have a huband and Daddy to take care of us

#4. Hailey and Josh like playing with each other (sometimes!)

#5. All of our kids are healthy

#6. We have Thursday night T.V. to laugh at and enjoy

The pictures are in no specified order...in case you were wondering!! We are thankful for everyone in our family, and to all of our wonderful friends we wish you a very blessed Thanksgiving !

New Adventures

Well we finally all went to the beach as a FAMILY!
David has taken Hailey and Josh before, but the
girls and I haven't been yet, and our little girls
have never experienced the beach before, so here
are some really cute pictures of everyone! Audrey
did not like the water or the sand at all (can you tell?)
Avery thought it was so much fun, she started
eating the sand! (go figure?!) Josh was a little
hesitant, (because of a previous incident) but he
was willing to run around and climb trees! Hailey
was ALL about the water, especially with her new
found kickboard we unpacked from months ago.

We now know what Santa will be getting her for
Christmas.
There was a surfing contest going on too, so there
are some pictures from that as well. Our little
Audrey finally has her third tooth. (I know, I know
only 3?) and she is starting to say thank you to

everything, (even though it sounds like that-too
or tat-too). We will be taking the three younger
ones to the doctor's tomorrow for 4 yr. old check-up
and shots, and 15 month shots for the twins. (Long
morning...I don't see anyone volunteering to take our
places for this one..)
Hope everyone is doing well, and we will be having
a new nephew here within this weekend hopefully
Good Luck Net! We love everyone, and miss you
guys like crazy!

Oh, and P.S. for all those viewers who didn't believe...the
pictures of the turtles are for you! (told you they exist!)

Special Delivery!!!

Look what we found when we started unpacking! Too cute! Well, everything is going O.K. We are slooowly unpacking and getting somewhat organized. Man! Whoever said moving was fun is down right WRONG! Everyday we are finding more, and more things dented, scratched or just broken all together. Oh well, what can you do. (Cry me a river people!!)
Needless to say we are in beautiful Hawaii enjoying the breath-taking views and climate, (ha,ha!) and all the bugs that go with that!
My little guys' one year older and a year wiser!(ha,ha!) He has gotten more than enough toys and goodies from Halloween to last another year, but oh look! Christmas is right around the corner. Here are a few pics I took of him and his sister Hailey in their costumes they were supposed to wear on Halloween. How adorable are they? My little tomboy Hailey was sooo sad she couldn't be the racecar driver we orginally planned, so she was a substitute spiderman (go figure). I hope everyone is doing well, and be thankful you don't have to unpack a house right before the holidays!

Our Little Guy

Hello again! Well this is a new month, so therefore a new dedication.

My only little guys b-day is this month,so here are some oh so cute photos! He is a handful, but on most occasions, I wouldn't have it any other way. Born November 12, 2004 @ 2:06 a.m. he is a little pistol of energy, and has a joker smile to boot. He is learning how many times he can say "Uhhhhh Mommy?" in one hour, and how many times he can make his sisters laugh or cry. We love our only little guy! We cannot forget Brennan's and Papa's birthday as well, so in honor of them and how much they mean to us, here are a couple of snapshots for them! We love and miss everyone so much.

Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween, of course our little Ironman was a big hit! (I have to admit, he was pretty darn cute!) Due to a mail mishap, his dinosaur costume will have to wait until next year, sorry folks.

We will be thinking about everyone during Thanksgiving. Keep all your posts and comments coming!

For Jim and Brennan, we will be thinking about you guys and wish you a very happy birthday!
