On our first day we went to the Animal Kingdom. Evey park has an "icon" that is the main focus when you either walk in, or can see throughout the park. Up top is the one for Animal Kingdom. It is the Circle of Life tree from the Lion King. This is my favorite park due to the shows they have here and the scenery. Plus, my favorite ride is the safari excursion because you get to see a whole bunch of wildlife animals in their habitat (not caged up like at a zoo). We got to the park before opening, because we had a character breakfast with Mickey and the gang. Then we were able to go and wait and certain rides for them to open. Unfortunately, we were not expecting a GINORMOUS crowd at Disney, let alone this park! I think we picked the same park everyone else decided to go to for that day. It was crazy! We definitely still got to do everything we wanted to, just had to account for longer lines, and more people. (Not always a good thing with little ones.) The highlights for me and the rest of the gang was for sure the Lion King show, and the Finding Nemo show. They are a must if any of you decide to go, definitely worth the wait!
Due to the overcrowding of parks, we would take a break sometime in the day to re-group, and then go to the next park on our list later in the night before the next day. It saved us on ride times, and we were able to ride some of our favorites multiple times, definitely a plus:) Next stop Hollywood Studios!!
